Drama about religion and psychic ability scheduled

The New Light Theater Project will present Mystic Conversations at Theater Row beginning April 26. The mystery play by Julia Barry Bell is based on real events involving a psychic child and the stress the paranormal gift brings to a religious family. Writer’s Desk Entertainment is presenting the world premiere of The Trunk by John Seresi at the Flea Theater (20 Thomas St.) through April 12. Directed by Anthony Misiano, The Trunk is about a curmudgeon who enlists his best friend’s son to help him sort through the contents of his New York apartment after receiving a diagnosis if incipient dementia.
